About Parkview
Management Corp.
More Than Buildings. We Build Communities.

Rooted In Vision Driven By Care
Founded by developer and engineer James Canino, Parkview was built on a deep commitment to quality, community, and long-term livability. Every detail—from structural design to energy efficiency—was treated with care and precision.
Today, our properties reflect that legacy through high retention, low turnover, and a focus on safety, comfort, and responsible upgrades. We don’t just manage buildings—we nurture communities.
"Never act out of fear and never feel sorry for yourself - because the moment you do, you've already lost."
Leadership and Legacy
After founder James Canino’s passing, the leadership of Parkview Management passed to his daughter, Lisa. She had joined the company in 1989 after building a successful career in banking and business administration. Now leading Parkview Management as a certified woman-owned company, Lisa carries forward her father’s values of resilience, integrity, and hands-on dedication. She’s also built a trusted team that shares in those values, fostering a culture of accountability, care, and long-term vision. With the next generation stepping in, the Canino legacy continues to guide Parkview’s Management people-first mission.
Lisa D’Alessandro & Emily D’Alessandro
Parkview Management Corp. is led proudly by its owner, Lisa D’Alessandro, whose vision and dedication have formed the values of the company – serving the Hudson County area with affordable multi-family housing and building a strong community within the space. With 30+ years of experience, Lisa has been driving innovation and building strong client relationships since 1989.
Supporting this mission is our Vice President, Emily D’Alessandro, Lisa’s daughter, who brings only two short years of property management experience, but makes up for this in leadership and operations experience. As a key strategist and operator, Emily plays a critical role in steering our team toward excellence and ensuring that every project reflects our commitment to providing affordable housing to the Hudson County community.
Together, Lisa and Emily are dedicated to delivering exceptional multi-family housing opportunities and fostering long-term partnerships rooted in professionalism and trust.
JAMES M. CANINO
James M. Canino built his career on the belief that construction was not only about creating structures, but about building communities, opportunities, and legacies. Guided by the principle that no decision should ever be made out of fear, he set a standard of excellence defined by courage, integrity, and uncompromising quality.
With a foundation in science and engineering, Mr. Canino began his career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where he oversaw critical government and military projects. He later advanced to roles with the New York City Board of Education and in the private sector, directing the construction of schools, housing developments, and high-rise residences that still stand as testaments to his vision.
Throughout his decades of leadership, Mr. Canino’s philosophy remained constant: every project carried a responsibility to serve the people who would live, learn, and work within it. To him, schools symbolized opportunity, housing represented dignity, and high-rises embodied ambition and progress. His approach combined technical mastery with a belief that true craftsmanship required vision and heart.
Mr. Canino’s legacy continues through the communities he helped shape and the values he instilled. Today, Parkview Management Corp — a women-owned, family-led company — carries forward his philosophy of fearless leadership, commitment to quality, and dedication to building a better future for generations to come.
